Who is the Green Man?
The Green Man represents the Oneness of Humanity and the natural world. It is depicted as a foliate head. It has many links to ancient mythology and religious and cultural folklore.
Some consistent themes include:
Symbols of rebirth, rejuvenation and the cycle of life and death.
Wilderness, forests, animal habitats
Fertility and Health
Oneness with Earth (Tree of Life)
The re-emergence of this archetype in humanity’s consciousness is indicative of what is needed most from men and humanity as a whole at this time
